Preface: Great people are gone forever when they die unless somebody write stories about them. Memories have a unique power – they serve a great way to immortalize those we love. Keeping someone alive in our hearts only requires space in our memories. Sometimes, memories can make you feel pain… or joy. But we choose to remember things that give us pleasure. They’re one of the only things that grow bigger as we love them more. Some people leave beautiful memories behind to comfort those they love. May Allah forgive them and bestow them His Mercy. It is with these noble intentions that a few of us from the third generation of the family of Sheikh Nik Mat Kecik recalled and collect information from bits and pieces to put together stories that represent the life stories as close as possible to the real event, sometimes having to make a guess of the reasons behind certain events. These dedicated writers were: : Wan Yusoff Wan Othman, Kamil Mahmoud Fatani, Fuad Mohamed Kamil , Ibrahim Mahmoud Fatani.​

مقدمة: رحل اجدادنا العظماء إلى الأبد وظلت سيرتهم العطرة حية في قلوبنا وظل حبل الدعاء هو الوصل بيننا وبينهم تركوا خلفهم ارثا عظيما وذكريات جميلة خلفهم غفر الله لهم. عندما يرحلون لن تبقى سوى ذكراهم وعلى احدنا ان يكتب قصصًا عنهم لتخليد ذكراهم. إن تخليد ذكراهم في  قلوبنا لا يتطلب سوى مساحة في ذاكرتنا. في بعض الأحيان، يمكن الذكريات تشعرك بالألم أو الفرح. لكننا نختار أن نتذكر الأشياء الجميلة فيهم والتي تسعدنا. إنها واحدة من الأشياء الوحيدة التي تجعلهم في قلوبنا. يترك بعض الناس ذكريات جميلة وراءهم علينا اظهارها لنترحم عليهم. غفر الله لهم ورحمهم. من خلال هذه النوايا النبيلة، استدعى القليل منا من الجيل الثالث من عائلة الشيخ محمد بن اسماعيل جمع المعلومات من مصادر مختلفة لكتابة سيرهم العطرة التي اثرت في حياتنا لبعض الاحداث الحقيقية لهم، وفي بعض الأحيان نضطر إلى تخمين الأسباب الكامنة وراء أحداث معينة. هؤلاء الكتاب المتفانون هم: وان يوسف عثمان، كامل محمود فطاني ، فؤاد محمدكامل، إبراهيم محمود فطاني.
