Biography of Sheikh Abdullah bin Muhammadnour Fatani
Sheikh Abdullah bin Muhammadnour bin Muhammad bin Ismail Fatani was born in the house of his father, Sheikh Muhammadnour Fatani, in the Al-Qashashiyah neighborhood, in Khardafoushi Alley, which later became known as Fatani Alley, in the valley of Sayyidina Ibrahim in Makkah Al-Mukarramah in the year 1358 AH. He was raised in his father’s home.
Education and Career
Sheikh Abdullah received his primary and intermediate education in Makkah Al-Mukarramah before moving to Riyadh. There, he studied in the scientific section of the Capital Institute and later attended King Saud University.
He began his career at the Ministry of Commerce, working in the Calibration and Standards Department, where he oversaw the monitoring of weights, scales, measures, petroleum fueling stations, and the calibration of weighbridges for trucks. Subsequently, he moved to the department responsible for monitoring precious metals and gemstones, both those manufactured in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and those imported into the Kingdom. He was later retired upon reaching the legal age limit.
Specialized Training Courses
Sheikh Abdullah Muhammadnour Fatani completed specialized courses in the following areas:
• A course in Standards and Measures in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• An English Secretarial Course at the Institute of Public Administration in Riyadh.
• An Office Management Course at the Institute of Public Administration in Riyadh.
• A course on Commercial Fraud at the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO) in Riyadh.
He also participated in serving pilgrims, or "Guests of the Most Gracious," through seasonal work at the experimental Southeast Asia Establishment for the Guests of the Most Gracious.
Family
He is the father of a son, Muhammad Abdullah, and has six respectable daughters. And one son
