Biography of Sheikh Hamid bin Mohammednour Fattani
Sheikh Hamid bin Mohammednour bin Mohammed bin Ismail Fattani was born in his father's house in the Al-Qashashiyyah district of Mecca, in Khardafushi Alley, which later became known as Al-Fattani Alley in the Valley of Sayyidina Ibrahim, during the year 1931 (1350 AH).

He was raised in the home of his father, Sheikh Mohammednour bin Mohammed Ismail Fattani. He was enrolled in Al-Falah School in Mecca, graduated, and began his career at the First Summary Court in Mecca. He was appointed to several departments, including the Pleading Secretariat, where he worked for many years until he became its Director of Administration. He was later referred to retirement upon reaching the legal age.

Sheikh Hamid was instrumental in assisting his brother, Ahmed bin Mohammednour Fattani, in serving the Guests of God (pilgrims). He was selected as the supervisor (Nadhir) of the endowments (awqaf) of his grandfather, Sheikh Mohammed bin Ismail, and the endowments of Sheikh Dawood Abdullah Fattani, in addition to his work with the experimental Southeast Asia Establishment for pilgrims.
