Biography of Major General Mohammed Bin Mohammednoor Fattani
Sheikh Mohammed bin Mohammednoor bin Mohammed bin Ismail Fattani was born in the house of his father, Sheikh Mohammednoor Fattani, in the Al-Qashashiyah quarter, Khardafoushi Alley (later known as Fattani Alley), in Wadi Sayyidna Ibrahim in Makkah Al-Mukarramah in the year 1350 AH. 1931 He was raised in his father's home and received his early education at Al-Falah School in Makkah.

He later joined the King Abdulaziz Military College in Taif (the Military School), from which he graduated on 1/7/1368 AH.

Military and Intelligence Career
Sheikh Mohammed Fattani joined the military and intelligence services, eventually achieving the rank of Major General (Liwa), serving as the Assistant Director of Intelligence within the Presidency of Intelligence (General Intelligence) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

His prominent roles included:

Assistant Director of Intelligence (Presidency of Intelligence).

Director of the General Intelligence Branch in the Western Region.

Director of the General Intelligence Branch in the Eastern Region.

Investigating Officer at the General Intelligence Directorate in Riyadh.

Member of the Military Trials Council.

Director of the Signal Corps (appointed on 1/8/1379 AH).

Head of Wireless Intelligence.

Logistics Officer during the Disciplinary Campaign of Jabal Al-Rayth on 6/1/1375 AH.

Assistant Commander at the Wireless Intelligence Center, where his military service began as the Commander of the Faisal Fourth Mobile Company.

He was subsequently transferred to the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region on 7/10/1368 AH.

Major General Mohammed Fattani completed the following military courses:

Security Course, Jeddah (1386 AH).

Security Course, London, UK (1385 AH).

Course at the Command and Staff College, Riyadh (1379 AH).

Family
Major General Mohammed bin Mohammednoor Fattani married Sayyida Fakhriyah bint Saleh Mustafa Al-Shami, from a noble family in Madinah. They had three sons: Sheikh Riad Mohammednoor, Sheikh Adnan Mohammednoor, and Sheikh Bandar Mohammednoor, in addition to two esteemed daughters.

Demise
Sheikh Mohammed Fattani passed away at twelve noon on Saturday, the 6th of Ramadan, 1440 AH, 8/5/2019 at the age of approximately ninety years. He was buried in Al-Ma'la Cemetery in Makkah Al-Mukarramah, near the grave of Sayyida Khadijah (may Allah be pleased with her). We ask Allah for His forgiveness for him, our parents, and all Muslims.
